Our People

Feb - Our People

(February 2020) Weʼre proud of the way our people support each other and effectively work together; it
defines our culture. We recognize that our team is at their best when everyone feels valued, respected,
and supported at work.

Our dedication to creating an exceptional workplace culture has not gone unnoticed in the industry
either. Last April, Trucking HR Canada announced that Midland would be receiving the Top Fleet Award
for the fourth consecutive year. This award recognizes Midland as an industry leader in recruitment and
retention practices, workplace culture, compensation, training and skills development, and innovative
HR practices. Midland was recognized again in June as an Employer of Choice by Trucking Human
Resources Sector Council Atlantic. This award recognizes Midland as a company responding to the
needs of our employees in five key areas: Communication, Culture, Creating Rewards, Competitive
Practices and Connection.

Providing support to one another has also enabled us to reach many milestones throughout the years.
This past year, our drivers and operations team were recognized by Shipper Canada as the Carrier of
Choice for the 11th consecutive year. Midland drivers also achieved a major safety milestone this past
September, as our Million Miles Club combined for over 1 billion safe driving miles.
