Midland recognized as a Top Fleet Employer for the 10th consecutive year
Midland's dedication to high standards in HR policies and practices once again recognized by Trucking HR Canada.

(April 2025 - Ottawa, ON) - Midland is proud to announce that it has been named a Top Fleet Award recipient for the 10th consecutive year by Trucking HR Canada. This recognition solidifies Midland’s commitment to excellence in HR policies and practices within the trucking industry.
Trucking HR Canada's Top Fleet Employers (TFE) program recognized a total of 108 fleets this year, marking the largest group in the program's 12-year history. Angela Splinter, CEO of Trucking HR Canada, emphasized that the TFE program aims to promote exceptional HR best practices nationwide and showcase top performers. Midland's consistent recognition as a Top Fleet Employer demonstrates the company's dedication to maintaining high standards in skills development, workplace culture, employee engagement, recruitment practices, compensation, sustainability, community engagement, and innovative HR policies.
The TFE program is based upon a rigorous review process that evaluates fleets based on multiple criteria, including employee feedback about their workplaces. This year's TFE class represents regions across Canada and fleets of all sizes. Furthermore, fleets recognized for five, 10, or more years earn Top Fleet Employer of Distinction status. Midland is proud to be among the 25 fleets earning the Top Fleet Employer of Distinction status for 10+ years.
To celebrate this achievement, the 2025 Top Fleet Employers, including Midland, will be recognized and celebrated at the 12th annual Awards Gala at the Palais Royale in Toronto on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
Midland is honoured to receive this prestigious national recognition and remains committed to upholding the highest HR standards in the trucking industry. We are proud of our employees and their dedication to our company's success. Thank you to Trucking HR Canada for this continued recognition, and we look forward to continuing our commitment to excellence in the years to come.
